For his groundbreaking work in diabetic foot during the previous two decades, Dr. A P S Suri was awarded the renowned Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Inspirational Award at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi. World-famous boxer Ms. M.C. Mary Kom presented the important honour. The ceremony recognised and acknowledged Dr. A P S Suri outstanding contributions to the field of diabetic foot. Numerous lives all throughout the country have been positively influenced by his ground-breaking research and dedication.
